Frequently Asked Questions
1. What types of photography do you do?
Well, I consider myself a portrait photographer first, wedding photographer second, and an event photographer last. However, the only genre of photography that I haven't taking a liking to is landscape or infant photography. I fell in love with the emotion of the moment and the stillness in it. For this reason Weddings are always a top choice. I also consider myself a photojournalist so any social event that are major in the state of Virginia I have probably covered.

2. Why should I hire a professional photographer?
The benefits of hiring a photographer are far beyond the excitement of the occasion or the preparation. hiring a photographer is a guarantee that the fond memories that you think about will never be forgotten. the best photog for you is one that is as passionate about your event/ moment as you are. They will see things you wouldn't even have known to be moments that you would loved to see. Hiring a photographer establishes quality in the memory.

3. How far in advance should i book my portrait shoot?
I can put together a shoot in a hurry if we need to, but i always prefer/recommend booking at least six weeks in advance if possible. This gives us plenty of time to make sure you have all the wardrobe pieces you need, for you to schedule any beauty appointments you may want as prep, and for me to design special little extras for your shoot. But if you’re on a tight schedule, still inquire! We most likely can figure it out.
4. Do you require a deposit to hold my session date?
YES. Once you're ready to book your date You can go to the website booking page to secure your date with the appropriate deposit amount for the shoot you’re requesting. deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.
Policies
BOOKING and CANCELLATIONS
A non-refundable deposit is required to book your session. Deposits are due when scheduling your session, unless we’ve made other arrangements. No session will be considered booked until a deposit is received. The balance of your fee is due within 24 hours of your session. All deposits are paid through our website invoicing system. Stylists & MUAs are paid separately.
RESHOOTS & REFUNDS
Photographs are artistic creations and interpretation is subjective. Because of this, we do not offer reshoots, revisions or refunds other than for technical failures or malfunctions that prevent us from delivering the agreed upon number of technically proficient images in clear focus. In the extremely rare case we can’t deliver as outlined above, we'll refund or reshoot your session. We are not liable for any amount in excess of fees that have been paid.
RESCHEDULING
We allow one complementary reschedule (to be completed within 60 days of your original session date) provided you give us 72 hours notice. If you give us less than 72 hours notice, your session will be canceled and your deposit will be forfeited. If you need to reschedule a second time, a $100 fee will be required. We allow a maximum of two reschedules. If you’re not able to make your third date, your session will be canceled and your deposit will be forfeited.
PROOFS & DELIVERABLES
Once your session is complete, we’ll narrow down your images to a workable number and deliver proofs (i.e., unedited, unretouched images) from which you’ll choose your final images for retouching. The number of the proofs and final images we deliver depends on the package you purchased. We do not release proofs or RAW images. We always deliver final images as high resolution JPGs. No images, including proofs, will be delivered until your full fees have been paid.
LATE ARRIVAL/TARDINESS
Arriving late without communication will result in a 50 dollar fee for every 15 minutes you are not at the location. If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, we consider it a cancellation and you forfeit your deposit. This will not extend the block of time your shoot is scheduled for. If your shoot is from 1pm -3pm and you arrive at 130pm you shoot end time is still 3pm. the late fee is a penalty for late arrival NOT an extension of the shoot.
